- Oct 2004: Founded through an endowment by Mr. Wei-Te Liu, dedicated to promoting high-tech industry exchange and talent recognition.
- Jan 2005: Officially approved by the Ministry of Education as the "Shu-Ben Education Foundation."
- Dec 2008: Honored to have Mr. Vincent Siew (former Vice President) deliver the keynote speech at the scholarship awards ceremony for the first time.
- Dec 2012: Appointed Mr. Vincent Siew as the Honorary Chairman of the Foundation.
- Dec 2014: Celebrated the 10th anniversary of the Foundation.
- 2024: Marked the 20th anniversary of the Foundation's establishment.
